Danny Carl Dennison, 62, passed away on March 3. 2017, after a brief illness. He will be missed greatly by his many sisters and brothers-in-law, who he loved like brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his father, Earl Edwin Dennison, in-laws, Ralph and Helen Power, his stepfather, Peter Yekhtikian, sisters, Carlene Dennison and Monooshag Yekhtikian, and grandson, Colton Elihu Dennison. He leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, those who looked to him as a father figure, and friends who were like family to him. Danny was proudly born in Springfield, Ohio, and moved to the south shore of Massachusetts as a child. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1973, and was always proud to be a Marine and serve his country. Danny worked in the oil business, a field he was passionate about, for most of his life. He was proud to work for Dennison Lubricants for so many years. Family was most important to Danny, and he made everyone he met feel like extended family. He was always laughing, and no one could tell a better story. He delighted in his eight grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. You never wondered where you stood with Dan. He was never afraid to say "I love you." Danny will be missed terribly by all that knew him. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106), Kingston, on Friday, March 10th, from 4-8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 11th, at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston. A celebration of Danny's life will be held at the Knights of Columbus in Kingston immediately following the services.
