Clif Cordeiro, 85, of Halifax, died Wednesday, March 11th, at the Plymouth Rehab Center. Clif resided at the Halifax Mobile Home Park for many years before going to live at the All American Assisted Living in Hanson, due to his failing health. He was born and raised in Middleboro and attended, and graduated from the Middleboro School System. Clif was the youngest of 4 children. He had three older sisters; Elsie Mae, Isabelle, and Eleanor. He was very well known to most everyone in the Mobile Park, he helped everyone, he was a very kind and generous man, always giving of himself, he was a very good, caring, and loving man to his family.
He enjoyed traveling, going to Twin Rivers, and volunteering his time. He was always busy with a project. His greatest hobby was crafts, and he enjoyed making doll houses very much. He was quite a craftsman. Clif was employed by T.L. Edwards for 20 years. He was also a volunteer fireman in the town of Middleboro. He is survived by his son James (Jimmy) Cordeiro of FL, and his five stepchildren; Deborah O'Donnell of CT, Robert Bumpus, John Bumpus, Jeff Bumpus, and Loretta Ring of E. Bridgewater, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and a nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 16th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 17th at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett St, Halifax. Interment will be at the Central cemetery in Halifax
