Joan G. Carlson, of Kingston, a longtime employee of the Raytheon Company, passed away on November 25, 2012. She was 87 years old. Beloved wife of the late Richard E. Carlson. Loving mother of Richard E. Carlson, Jr, and William Carlson and his wife Lorraine. Sister of Elizabeth Norling, and the late Margaret Schneider, and George White. Daughter of the late George and Serephine White. Joan was the cherished grandmother of 6, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 29th from 3-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, Kingston, on Friday, November 30th at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
