Obituary of Joseph J. DesRoche

Joseph James DesRoche, age 32, a resident of East Bridgewater, MA, died suddenly on April 2nd.

Joey was born in Stoughton on March 10, 1986. He graduated from  Bridgewater-Raynham high school in 2005. Joey obtained his Medical Assisting certificate and began working in the field where he was passionate about helping others. Joey was a Medical Assistant for Plymouth Bay Orthopedics and also was employed by Lowe’s Department store.

Joey is survived by his parents, Joseph Sr. of Auburn, Ma  and Cheryl DesRoche of Pembroke, MA and his only brother and Best Friend, Daniel DesRoche. Joey is survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who will miss him dearly. Joey will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Joey had a smile that would light up a room. He was a fun loving guy with a contagious laugh. Joey brought joy to everyone around him. He loved music and was always singing along to any song. He was an avid Boston Sports Fan and a member of the Mattamiscontis Club located in Maine. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting with his club family and friends. 

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 5th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker, 1 Maquan St, Hanson. Graveside services will follow at the Center cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Spina Bifida Association at www.spinabifidaassociation.org.
