James F. Crossley, 86, of Gulf Port, FL, formerly of Pembroke passed away on February 1, 2018. Husband of the late Ann (Andrews) Crossley who preceded him in death in 1981, and Lois (Simmons) Crossley, who passed away in 2015. Son of the late Charles and Ellen (Nagle) Crossley. Loving father to Lynda Bonneau and her husband Craig of Dover, NH, Chuck Crossley and his wife Carolyn of North Pembroke, Gary Crossley and Lisa Mallon of Rochester, NH, and his Stepchildren Judy Campbell Gulfport, Fl, Jeff Nangle, NH, and Peter Nangle, of NC. Cherished grandfather to Ann, Steven, Samantha, Dawn, Alyssa, Alden, and Evan, and great grandfather to Chloe and Sadie. James also leaves his dear friend James Migre of Marshfield. Mr. Crossley was a 46 year retired Deputy Chief Call Firefighter for the Town of Pembroke, and he was enlisted with the Army Corp. of Engineers and served during Korea from 1952-1954 He was a general contractor, owned a snow removal business, and was very involved with the Marshfield Fair. Mr. Crossley also served with Habitat for Humanity for over 20 years in Florida. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 6th from 4-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St (Rt. 14) Pembroke. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at 10:00 AM at St. Thecla Church, 145 Washington St (Rt. 53) Pembroke. Graveside services will follow at Water St. Cemetery in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Habitat for Humanity at www.habitat.org.
